Men's Explorer Light Boots

Berghaus' popular Explorer has just lost weight, creating a great lightweight boot for use in warmer climes. As with other Explorers, it provides a high level of comfort, support, protection and grip. The suede and mesh upper has a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane; a PU midsole absorbs shocks; and it has a durable rubber outsole.

Question
Berghaus light weight explorer trail light boots
Hi I am walking the west highland way 97 miles here in scotland, I need suitable boots and was thinking of buying the new explorer trail light boots by Berghaus.
The New light weight ones in grey with red trim. My Millets store in greenock
recommends these as suitable for this mainly path walking over several days.
What do you think?

Yes, I would recommend these boots. I have done hundreds of miles on all terrain and they stay comfortable every step of the way.

No problems with these boots, i walked 23 miles the day after i got them and found them very comfortable

These would be ideal for your needs. They are really light weight, comfortable and do not take much breaking in.

Have a pair of leather Brashers but would prefer something lighter with some ankle support. Are these available instore at the same price as online?

I have had a Pair for 18mnths grip is ok on paths not good on ice or wet rock, they started to leak after about 12mnths but only a very small amount. They feel cold in anything below 12degrees C they have quite a large fit and ancle support is minimal at best, but they are comfy straight from the box tread is easy to clean the upper however does get dirty very quickly very slow to dry.
