200 is ok for the English weather, if you are going camping in a colder area up grade to the 400.

The higher the rating the warmer it is ie 2 season good for summer and autumn, 3 season spring summer and autumn, 4 season good all year round,there are bags with higher ratings but these are specialist bags for mountaineering and the like.

These, I would say are unisex bags, I bought four, 2 red & 2 blue. Both my children use them too and they are both boys. I would reccoment these bags.

The dimensions suggest that the sleeping bag is more than adequate for both men and women. It is not tailored towards any gender
