Questions & Answers for Adventurer 300 Sleeping Bag

Question
Does this sleeping bag come in it's own compression bag?
This product looks great but there is no mention of it having it's own bag for you to carry it around in. Would I have to purchase a separate one?

Yes it does come with it's own compression bag, it is easy to get back in and it's a nice, small size when packed.

I went ahead and bought the product anyway, and yes it does come in it's own bag. It's still relatively bulky but the sleeping bag itself is huge and very thick so I'm not complaining!

Question
choosing a sleeping bag
I am looking for sleeping bags for my 2 children who are off on camp this summer. My son, aged 14, also camps through the winter and my daughter, aged 12, feels the cold. I have narrowed the choice down to the Coleman Callisto, Eurohike Adventure 220, 300XXL and 300. I have tried to compare but really can not see the difference between these bags, could you please help. Many thanks Karen

I previously used extra large, 300 bags for my children but they were too big. The 200s were too cold. My boys are very happy with their Adventurer 300s, although they do benefit from a sleeping bag liner as the inners are smooth, shiny polyester rather than flannelette or cotton. I use flannelette sheets folded in half and stitched up halfway.

Hi Ya

The 220 and 300XXL have the same spec both with a extreme temperature rating down to -10° ° and will keep you warm and comfortable throughout the cold winter nights.

The Eurohike 300 has a extreme temperature rating down to : -15.

The Callisto is only comfortable down to 6°

I would recommend the Eurohike 300 for being the warmest.

Many thanks for your question.

I have three quite small kids who are going back packing and if they are to survive I will need small light kit for them especially backpacks and sleeping bags.
