Yeh this sack can easily cope with that size tent, in my experiance you may be better having any weighty single items such as tents up high not low, more comfortable to carry, plus experiment to ensure even weight distribution.

The size of tent you mention would fit inside the rucksack but obviously take up space. The straps you refer to would easily fit the tent but would restrict access to an external pocket (no big deal). There are also some loops (either side of the laced area) which would enable you to strap the tent vertically.

It would be able to carry a tent of those proportions. I hiked with my 4man tent strapped in with the bottom straps and it was fine.

Just over 60cm high by 30cm wide. I bought it for my teenage son but I'd say it would be large enough for most adults.

I found this bag a perfect size, and I'm an adult male. I'm a scout leader, and on a recent camp I found that the Scouts had rucksacks of similar size- although not nearly as full as mine, and theirs were largely loaded with snacks and sweets. Basically- it could be used for either (although these children were 12+, it would have toppled a smaller child).

The decision you have to make is whether 70litres is enough space for all your kit- worth going into a store and looking at the bag.

Question
What is the actual Litres of this Rucksack
Please can you tell me the actual Litres of this rucksack, as in the shop it shows 60+10 does this mean its actually a 70 litres rucksack then. Plus can you tell what the Hydro means. Thank you

Being realistic look at it as a 60 litre as the side and bottom pockets eat in to the internal capacity, the top has lots of room but there is not a secure fastening facility, not quite sure why they did this but hey ho
The Hydro bit referes to these water carriers that have long straws so you can trail it to the shoulder straps and drink on the move (camel back) you have to purchase seperately.

It's 60 litres in the main compartment, with a second 10 litre compartment. These two sections can be joined by unzipping the section between them.

Hydro means that certain parts of the bag are waterproof. The main section of the bag comes with a removable (velcroed in) waterproof sac, and the top pocket has a built in waterproof sac.

It is also possible to put a hydration pack (camel/platypus) in the rucksack as well - although, many rucksacks have this capability and I don't think this is why it is called a Hydro bag- that is because it has waterproof sections.

Thanks for your question.

This bag is a 60+10 litre meaning the main compartment is 60 litres and there is an additional 10 litre compartment.

Hydro means that the bag is hydration compatible and has a compartment for your hydration pack.

Yes, it has a small pocket at the bottom of the rucksack with a waterproof cover inside. It's attached by a velcro strap (so it can be detached if needed), and can be pulled to cover the entire bag. It has elasticated edges.
